To measure training is one of the key components on how a business will succeed. If a training program is proven to be effective, it will definitely yield to positive results, perhaps more than what is desired by the company. However, measuring the effectiveness of training is one of the biggest challenges of firms today. Training in itself is expensive and adding more components to it may not be a good idea in terms of financial capacity.
What may help to reduces cost is to develop several tools which may be classified under business intelligence. These tools will help the company evaluate training and consistently improve its methodologies. This is critical since business needs change. The environment and the type of people who get in the company also change. So how does one person measure the effectiveness of training in a systematic way?
Once the trainees go live on production on the floor or operations, their performance will significantly impact the overall achievement of the program. Lack of training or poor training methodology always ends up with employees not able to fulfill their jobs. Metrics should be used to see how effective the training was. It will not be wise say that a training curriculum is good simply because the students or trainees passed the exam. What needs to be done is to check the metrics of these employees and see if they are at par with the expectations of the company.
Significantly, an in-depth analysis should be done here. Data per employee should be available and this should not be very difficult to obtain with the kind of technology we have right now. These data will then validate of the training was effective. Findings in the analysis may say that there is a gap in the training system and that there is a need to revamp the process or the curriculum.
Performance will significantly tell a lot about training. This does not only concern product training but also job orientation. Many employees out there do not know how they should perform because they do not know what is expected of them. Many employees break the rules because they are not also aware of them. It is therefore wise to terrain employees about the existing policies of the company so they know what is acceptable and not.

MD Skincare is a skin care line developed by Dr. Dennis Gross. I did not know much about the line until I started studying cosmetics, trends, and the beauty industry. Dr. Dennis Gross was a Manhattan dermatologist. He developed the skincare line to be multi functioning and to produce results without a prescription. He began his career as a skin cancer researcher. The products deliver immediate results for all skin types by combining the best of what nature and science have to offer. The results cause for fewer products needed. This helps prevent an over exposure to preservatives and an alternative to surgery. It saves the consumer time and money. The star product is the Alpha Beta Daily Facial Peel. It is a non irritating treatment versus having a glycolic acid or chemical peel. Dr. Gross also has written the book “Your Future Face”. His line has won several awards.
Just as you wake up and brush your teeth, application of an SPF product must be incorporated into your morning routine. In this country alone, one in five people will develop skin cancer in their lifetime with more than 1 million skin cancer cases diagnosed annually. Skin cancer rates have risen to alarming numbers over the past few decades - the rates of melanoma, the most serious type, have more than doubled in the last 30 years. By simply altering your sun habits and wearing sunscreen, you may be able to avoid skin cancer entirely and escape the damaging effects of photo-aging or “premature aging” marked by wrinkles, dark spots and sagging skin. Sunscreen is no longer just a product for your beach bag, but a treatment that plays a vital role in the overall health and beauty of your skin. With years of experience as both a skin cancer researcher and a clinical dermatologist, Dr. Dennis Gross has witnessed the sun’s role in damaging and aging the skin as well as the beauty benefits of daily sun protection.
MD Skincare has a lot of sun products. My suggestion is the towelettes; they are easy to carry and fit right into your bag. As a handy combination of effectiveness and convenience, these disposable pads offer broad spectrum sun protection.
Benefits:
Chelator encapsulates iron, minimizing damage that can penetrate through to your skin
Lycopenes diminish damage from free radicals specific to the sun
Green tea helps to reverse sun damage
Enhanced broad spectrum sun protection from antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E Alcohol-free formula.
For all ages (6 months and older) and skin types.

Travel - Rewarding yourself with mini trips for making the correct financial decisions.
I love to travel and, my wife and I, take a few days, usually once a month or so, to take a break from the normal routine. This gives a chance to recharge and come back to work with more focus and plan the next trip.
We like to travel to a destination within a day’s drive of our home. We are lucky to live in British Columbia outside of Vancouver so that, Oregon and Washington, and the interior of British Columbia are easily accessible in a day or less. This is a great area, with plenty of interesting back roads to travel and beautiful scenery along the way, so getting there is half the fun. Planning and anticipating these mini trips is almost as much fun as taking them.
If you are on a budget you can go camping or find places at a reasonable cost to stay. With careful planning, you can have a well deserved break for a great price. We always ask for deals at the hotels where we stay, and usually get discounts of one type or another. We have jobs with flexible work schedules so we get away in non peak times, which means less crowds and better prices. We usually stay at good hotels, not the most expensive, but the ones that have good deals.
We deserve the reward, and we can afford it, because we do the right things financially day to day.
Our trip just last week was to Oregon, for a 5 day break which was a long weekend, plus a couple of banked days at work for working some extra time. Cannon Beach, Oregon is about a six hour drive. We stopped for a couple of shopping breaks along the way and took our time on the drive. Oregon does not have any sales tax which is great, and the Canadian dollar is at par with the US dollar, so shopping makes sense financially. We took the day and arrived at the hotel at about 6:00 pm, our room was ocean front as requested.
We sat back on the balcony and enjoying a couple of margaritas and listened to the surf rolling in, while the gulls cruised by on the breeze. Below is the view from the balcony, of Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach.

Some would say that Looking for those great deals or even the freebies not only is a never ending task, it also seems to be a waste of valuable time. I have spent many hours looking for companies that will give me free items or samples or free services. I am looking for anything to make my life a little easier and save me money in the process. Learning short cuts and money saving tricks is not only wanted but necessary in today’s world. Where do I look and what can I find to make this my life a little easier?
The company that I found month ago Gives me all kind of freebies. They have so much to offer that signing up for their membership club was well worth it. I saved in just the first month $365.00 in freebies. I have received countless items for free like shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and other personal care products, pet food, 2 free blue tooth, free cash, free printer paper and I can get this all year long. This is just to name a few of the items I have received. One of the best parts of this company is that I do not have to leave my home. I save tons of money in gas and time. I can look for things right off my computer all in one place. I know longer have to spend hours hunting and scouring the web. This company has done all the work for me. I just log on and request the freebies I want. It is really that easy.
I know what you are thinking, there has to be more to this. What is the catch? Well there is more but it’s not what you think. They want me to spread the word about them, they want me to be happy and find the things I want and need. So to ensure that I tell other about them, they pay me a small monthly fee for everyone that I tell and they join, before I know it I am making a real income and putting money back in my wallet.
Finding a resource like the one I have found, that can give you all the samples, coupons, Tools and training, and an income all in one place can be hard to find. They are out there and having one that can save you so much effort, time, gas and money is surely a blessing. Keep in mind what you want to get out of the company you are using. Look for ways to utilize all its tools to better your life and you will start to notice more money in your wallet to spend on the things you really need. The company that I found is truly a great tool. One that I personally have come to depend on daily.

There are three things that every laptop owner should know about extending battery life in their laptop to avoid the situation that we have all been in too many times. We are doing something important on the computer or hadn’t had the chance to save - thinking that we have enough time before the battery dies, and the screen goes black. The battery has powered down, without reprieve for your work! Here are some tips and tricks that can help to prolong battery life in your laptop from the guys over at BatteryFuel:
Avoid functions that take up large amount of battery power. This means Movies, and running more than two or three programs. As well, change the settings when using the laptop battery as the main source of power. These functions can be found by right clicking on the battery icon, or via the control panel. Adjusting these functions can save up to an hour of battery life.
When using the laptop ensure that it is not using valuable battery power to maintain a safe temperature for the machine. Using, and changing the battery battery at room temperature can increase the capabilities of the battery and extend the life.
Charge your battery fully - allow the battery to die completely to maintain the life of the battery. Partially charging the battery life can decrease the life of the battery substantially. Consider this when using the laptop, or shortening the charging time of the battery should you have to move. Once the laptop has been plugged in, allow the battery to charge fully for the best effects for the computer, and the battery.
